• Employment Type: ContractMission:To drive business growth by combining technical installation excellence with aggressive, professional sales activity, securing fleet tracking contracts, and providing customer-centric support to increase the overall revenue of Aston Air Car Rentals.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Electrical, Auto Electronics, ICT, Electronics, Sales, Marketing, or a related professional field.
• 1 to 3 years of proven experience in GPS installation, vehicle electronics, auto electrical work, or technical field sales.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, GSM/GPS technology, SIM card connectivity, and basic electrical testing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CRM systems.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field assignments.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills paired with a self-motivated, target-driven personality.
• Automotive Electrical Installation: Wiring GPS hardware neatly into vehicle electrical systems without causing damage.
• Telematics Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing device connectivity, power, and signal issues.
• B2B Field Sales: Prospecting corporate clients and pitching fleet management solutions.
• Deal Negotiation & Closing: Handling objections and converting leads into signed service contracts.
• Account Management: Building long-term relationships with fleet owners to ensure customer retention.
• Digital Literacy: Navigating and configuring mobile and web-based GPS tracking software.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Commercial/Operations Manager, below are the Key Job Responsibilities:
• Technical Installation: Install, configure, activate, and test vehicle GPS tracking devices according to manufacturer and company specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-installation vehicle inspections and perform rigorous post-installation testing (location accuracy, ignition status, power supply, and network connectivity) while protecting vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
• Business Development: Actively identify and pursue potential GPS tracking customers through direct sales, corporate visits, telemarketing, and digital networking.
• Pipeline Management: Prepare accurate quotations, follow up on prospective leads, conduct product demonstrations, and convert prospects into paying customers to meet monthly sales targets.
• Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with corporate clients and fleet owners to secure lucrative fleet tracking contracts and promote additional service upgrades.
• Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot device faults, conduct routine technical inspections, and assist customers with the basic use of web and mobile GPS tracking platforms.
• Reporting & Inventory: Maintain accurate records of all installations, monitor GPS device stock, track outstanding payments, and submit regular pipeline and market intelligence reports.
