4. GEOSPATIAL & REMOTE SENSING ENGINEER
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Geospatial Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geomatics, Surveying or a related field.
Experience with GIS and remote-sensing software.
Knowledge of satellite imagery, spatial analysis and digital mapping.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Experience in engineering, mining, infrastructure or environmental projects will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
• Process and analyse satellite and remotely sensed data.
• Develop digital maps and geospatial datasets.
• Conduct GIS and spatial-data analysis.
• Perform terrain and site assessments.
• Support engineering, mining and infrastructure projects with geospatial information.
• Interpret satellite imagery and remote-sensing data.
• Maintain GIS databases and spatial information systems.
• Prepare technical maps, reports and geospatial documentation.
• Support project planning and monitoring through GIS and remote-sensing technologies.
