Electrical Engineer

1. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Position: Electrical Engineer
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Zimbabwe

& Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Relevant industrial electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in industrial electrical installations, maintenance and commissioning.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, switchgear, transformers and industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA and automation systems will be an advantage.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in mining, manufacturing, mineral processing or heavy industry is an advantage.

• Design, install, commission and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Supervise electrical installations, modifications and upgrades.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, distribution boards and control panels.
• Work with electrical protection, motor control and power-distribution systems.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and plant equipment.
• Work closely with mechanical, automation and production teams.
• Conduct electrical inspections, testing and performance assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records and equipment documentation.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of recurring equipment failures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians.
