Job Description
POSITION: Driver/ Forklift Operator (3 Position)
REPORTING TO: Workshop SupervisorLOCATION: LusakaWe are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced Driver/Forklift Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods, equipment, and personnel, as well as operating forklifts to support cargo and ground handling activities.
Requirements
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License (preferably Classes C and C1).
• Valid Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years plus experience in driving and forklift operations.
• Experience in the aviation or logistics sector will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently for transportation of staff.
• Operate forklifts and other ground support equipment in line with safety procedures.
• Load and offload cargo, baggage, and operational supplies.
• Conduct routine vehicle and forklift inspections and report defects promptly.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety and security regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned equipment and vehicles.
• Assist in general ground handling and warehouse operations when required.
• Keep accurate transport and operational records.
