RURAL ELECTRIFICATION FUND
VACANCY NOTICE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancy within the Rural Electrification Fund. Applicants should submit an application letter accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
Driver (1 Year Contract) (1 Post) – Mashonaland East Province
Requirements
• 5 ‘O’ Levels including English language.
• Clean class 2 Driver’s license
• At least 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities
• Transports materials to and from project sites.
• Transports line gangs to and from project sites
• Checks if quantities loaded tally with what is stated on the STFs.
• Checks condition of the vehicle.
• Carries out basic maintenance and care of provincial fleet.
• Advises administration department when the vehicle is due for service.
• Any other duties delegated by the superior.

The Rural Electrification Fund (REF) also known as the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) is a statutory body governed by the Rural Electrification Fund Act (chapter 13:20) with its Head Office situated at Megawatt Building, 6th floor, 44 Samora Machel Avenue, Harare.
