Job Description

TRUCK DRIVERS
We are seeking dedicated Drivers to join our team. Reporting to the Logistics Specialist, the successful applicants will be responsible for the following key duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operating heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Complying with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
• Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Monitoring and reporting any vehicle maintenance needs.
• Assisting in route planning and optimization for timely deliveries.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence
• Medical Certificate
• Valid Retest
• At least 3 “O” Levels including Maths and English
• Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
• At least five (5) years 30 Tonne truck work experience preferable inter-city or cross border.
