Senior Policy Advisor, Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction

REQUIRED Education, TRAINING, LICENSE, REGISTRATION, AND CERTIFICATION.
• Master’s degree in related field (or undergraduate degree with 2
• 3 years of additional Experience)

Policy Advocacy & External Engagement:
• Lead the development of policy positions and advocacy strategies on climate action and DRR for humanitarian contexts.
• Represent World Vision in global humanitarian spaces such as UNDRR, Anticipation Hub, Grand Bargain AA Co. P, and Start Network.
• Coordinate WV’s engagement and reporting into global environmental/climate/AA/DRR frameworks including Humanitarian Climate Charter.
• Cultivate partnerships with peers in UN agencies, INGOs, donors, and governments.
