RURAL ELECTRIFICATION FUND
VACANCY NOTICE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancy within the Rural Electrification Fund. Applicants should submit an application letter accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
Provincial Accountant (1 Post) – Matabeleland North Province
Requirements
• A Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Membership of an accounting institute
• Computer literacy.
• SAP experience is a must.
• Four (4) years relevant experience
• Clean class four (4) Drivers licence

Responsibilities
• Prepares monthly income and expenditure reports, cash flow forecasts and returns
• Prepares monthly debtors schedules and ageing analysis
• Prepares wages payrolls for the province
• Procures provincial requirements for both operational and capex within tender limits
• Processes creditors payments and petty cash vouchers
• Manages the provincial bank account
• Prepares provincial capex, revenue and operational budgets
• Conducts variance analysis and takes corrective action
• Supervises project costing, manages stock movement and conducts periodic stock takes
and reconciliations
• Manages staff performance in the section
About Rural Electrification Fund
The Rural Electrification Fund (REF) also known as the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) is a statutory body governed by the Rural Electrification Fund Act (chapter 13:20) with its Head Office situated at Megawatt Building, 6th floor, 44 Samora Machel Avenue, Harare.
