Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Everyday Vacancies. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, managing processes, and supporting the team in achieving our mission to connect job seekers with employers.

As Operations Manager, you will wear many hats, from managing vendor relationships and office administration to optimizing workflows and implementing new systems. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure the organization runs smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations or business management
• At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
• Strong project management skills with experience in process improvement
• Proficiency in productivity and project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
• Experience with budget management and financial oversight
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience in tech or startup environments preferred
• Knowledge of Zimbabwean business regulations and compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
• Oversee office administration and facilities management
• Monitor and optimize operational processes for efficiency
• Manage operational budget and control costs
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Develop and track operational KPIs and metrics
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
• Support HR with recruitment logistics and onboarding processes
• Implement and manage operational tools and systems
• Report to leadership on operational performance and challenges
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
