Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical lessons in Motor Mechanics according to HEXCO and college syllabi.
• Design, invigilate and mark internal examinations.
• Maintain rigorous records of student performance.
• Prepare students for external HEXCO examinations and ensure all accreditation and portfolio requirements are meticulously met.
• Lead and manage departmental income-generating projects (hubs)
• Teaching students the business side of mechanics through real-world repair and maintenance services.
• Serve as a professional role model, providing career guidance and instilling a culture of workplace discipline and safety.
• Maintain accurate student attendance registers, departmental inventory and equipment maintenance logs.
• Submit detailed monthly and termly progress reports to the Principal regarding pass rates and project targets.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
• A holder of Higher National Diploma (HND) automotive engineering/degree and auto electrician.
• Qualified in metal fabrication,
• Panel beating and spray painting an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with traceable . Must have experience handling HEXCO or University accreditation processes.
• Candidates between 30 and 40 years of age are preferred.
