Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Horticulturist

The University seeks to engage a Lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production.

• Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language
• A Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Horticulture or related fields
• Applicants must be holders of at least a Master’s Degree in Horticulture
• A Ph. D in Horticulture or related fields is an added advantage
• At least one peer reviewed publication
• At least one-year teaching experience at tertiary level

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Horticulturist, you will be
• Participate in University income-generating projects
• Participate in the invigilation of examinations
• Supervise post-graduate and undergraduate student research projects
• Participate in outreach activities in the crop production sector
• Attract and manage research grants
• Participate in university services
• Innovate and facilitate service delivery
• Applicants must be able to teach Horticulture related modules at undergraduate level and any other modules which may be assigned by the Department
