General Hand- Housekeeping

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Hand-Housekeeping. The purpose of the General Hand is to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment by carrying out routine cleaning and housekeeping duties in accordance with established hygiene, infection control, and safety standards, thereby supporting quality patient care and the well-being of staff and visitors, maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cleaning and sanitizing wards, offices, corridors, and common areas
• Ensuring proper disposal of waste according to hospital guidelines
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
• Supporting a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues when identified

• 5 Levels including English
• Certificate in housekeeping
• Basic literacy and ability to follow instructions
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage
• Good personal hygiene and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and willing to work shifts including night shifts
• Must be able to use cleaning equipment e.g. floor polishers
