Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree in Media/Journalism/Communication/Broadcasting or equivalent.
• A Master's Degree in Media/Journalism/Communication/Broadcasting or equivalent will be an added advantage.Skills & Competencies
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in radio production, broadcasting, or media management.
• Proficiency in audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition or related).
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage a team.
• A passion for radio, storytelling, and engaging campus communities.
• Technical knowledge of studio equipment will be an added advantage
Responsibilities
• Supervise radio station operations, including programming, news and current affairs, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with the content requirements stipulated in the Broadcasting Services Act.
• Oversee producers, studio sessions, live broadcasts, and news bulletins.
• Ensure editorial integrity and high broadcast quality.
• Lead interface with resource persons, clients and representatives from regulatory authorities
• Develop new programmes and revamp existing flagship shows to retain listenership.
• Ensure broadcasting continuity and quality control.
• Achieve monthly revenue targets in liaison with the Manager.
• Ensure quality production and broadcast of adverts and sponsored programmes.
• Monitor market trends to improve client satisfaction and programming
• Implement professional updating skills training for producers.Terms & Conditions
