Job Description
The purpose of the job is to market and sell the bank’s products directly to customers outside of traditional branch channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and approach potential customers for loans, credit cards, savings accounts, or insurance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
• Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and networking.
• Explain product features, benefits, and terms clearly to customers.
• Match customer needs with appropriate financial products.
• Achieve sales targets set by the bank or financial institution.
• Assist customers in filling out forms and gathering required documents.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of applications before submission.
• Forward applications to the bank for processing.
• Follow Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
• Avoid mis-selling or providing misleading information.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer data.
• Provide regular updates to the bank on sales activities and customer feedback.
• Report challenges faced in the field and suggest improvements.
• Track progress against assigned targets.
• Address customer queries and concerns promptly.
• Guide customers through the loan or product approval process.
• Ensure a positive customer experience to build trust in the bank.
Requirements
• Familiarity with the catchment area
• O’level qualification, Ability to read and write
• Experience in handling financial products (e.g., loans, insurance, or credit cards) is an added advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex financial products in simple terms.
• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
• Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to travel
