Chief Security Officer

We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic experienced individual to fill the above position. The incumbent will be leading our security operations and safeguard our assets, employees and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
➢ Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies and procedures to protect company assets, personnel and operations.
➢ Oversee security risk assessments and ensure effective mitigation measures are in place.
➢ Lead and manage the security team, including assigning shifts, posts, performance evaluation and trainings.
➢ Sound knowledge on the mine processes
➢ Provide security briefings and training for employees to enhance awareness and preparedness.
➢ Prepare and implement Security Protocols for the company.
➢ Monitor and evaluate security threats, incidents and vulnerabilities ensuring timely response and resolution.

➢ Minimum of 5 years of Experience in Security Management, preferably in the mining or extractive industry.
➢ Experience in dealing with law enforcement agencies and security service providers
➢ Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to security incidents
➢ Knowledge of security technologies, surveillance systems and access control.
