Electrical Maintenance Assistant

To assist in maintaining and repairing electrical and electromechanical systems to ensure reliable and safe operation of plastic manufacturing machinery and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with maintenance and repair of electrical and electromechanical systems
• Support fault
• finding on motors, sensors, control panels, and wiring
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety and lock
• out procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance and fault logs
• Work collaboratively with mechanical and production teams
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production interruptions

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Basic electrical trade Requirements or apprenticeship
• 2+ years’ Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Understanding of PLC basics, motors, and control panels
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong awareness of electrical safety standards
