Job Description

Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancy that has arisen within the Croco Group of Companies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical technical issues.
• Inspect equipment, analyze trouble and plan sequence of repair operations.
• Adjust, or repair and replace parts in engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes and other equipment.
• Investigate complaints and equipment malfunctions.
• Analyze performance of equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment is well maintained
• Replacing damaged parts
• Performing basic repairs, such as oil changes, tire rotation and brake pad replacements
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used and customer information.
• Provide estimates for repair costs and timelines.
• Conduct engine overhauls, brake and suspension repairs, and other general mechanical work.
• Maintain accurate job cards and service records.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop deadlines while upholding quality standards.

Requirements

• Class 1 qualified journeyman
• Class 2 Driver’s license
• Ability to handle minor electrical repairs and diagnostics e.g., wiring, lighting, sensors is an added advantage.
• Must have exposure to heavy duty trucks including Volvo, UD and Asian brands.
