Operating Theatre Nurse

We seek an Operating Theatre Nurse who will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating theatre and ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition throughout surgery and recovery.
Maintain accurate surgical and patient records.
Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control standards.
Ensure safe handling and disposal of surgical instruments and materials.
Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure smooth theatre operations.

Diploma or Degree in General Nursing.
Post
• basic Requirements or certificate in Theatre Nursing.
Valid registration with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe
Minimum 2 years’ Experience in an operating theatre or surgical environment.
Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication Skills.
Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.
