VACANT LECTURESHIP AND TECHNICAL POSITIONS IN THE FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCE
NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite Requirements, Skills and Experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Applied Science:
•Department of Applied Chemistry
TECHNICIAN/SENIOR TECHNICIAN(1 POST)

Department of Applied Chemistry
Applicants must possess a minimum of National Diploma in Chemical Technology or equivalent and 1 year post Requirements Experience in a similar environment. Experience of working with AAS and UV
• VIS Spectrophotometer is a must. A working knowledge of HPLC, GC or FTIR will be an added advantage.CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

The job will involve setting up equipment, apparatus and preparation of reagents for laboratory practical work for students. Assist Academics in supervision and demonstration of practicals. Assist and supervise students during laboratory work for research projects. Prepare materials, test samples and perform sample analysis for research for Academic staff and Consultancy work. The candidate will be expected to operate, demonstrate, care, maintain laboratory equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
