Raw Materials Clerk

Reporting to the Finance Manager
The Raw Materials Clerk is responsible for effectively and efficiently ensuring that all cargo and raw material are cleared from ports of departure, and bonded warehouses, also export at ports of exit

Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain necessary endorsements from customs and other government ministries for imports and exports.
• Obtain approval from Clearing agents and customs to transport Consignment cargo.
• Obtain certification on Imports and exports of raw materials.
• Processing documents at the various ports of entry for delivery of cargo.
• Obtain customs examination/delivery at relevant ports of entry for clearance of goods.
• Conduct all business transactions in accordance with the high ethical standards that the company maintains.
• Participate in and assist in the monthly stock taking activity as required.
• Liaising with all stakeholders including suppliers, transporters, ZIMRA, Clearing agent and government
• Conduct any other related Responsibilities that may be assigned by the Superior

A Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in a similar or related field.
• Accounting/ Customs & Clearing /Purchasing and Supply/ Logistics
Minimum of two years’ work Experience in a similar function.
Proficiency in English Language.
Clean Class Four Drivers License
Female Environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in a warehouse environment of a manufacturing entity would be an asset.
