Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Truck/Trailer Mechanic to join our Workshop team and ensure our fleet of commercial vehicles remains in top condition. This role is critical to maintaining the reliability and safety of our transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair and replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct roadworthiness checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Maintain service records and update maintenance logs.
• Respond to breakdowns and provide on
• site repairs when necessary.

Requirements

• Tertiary Requirements in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent.
• Class 1 or 2 certification.
• Minimum 3 years’ Experience as a truck or diesel mechanic.
• Valid Class 2 or 1 driver’s license.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair software.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent problem
• solving and time management Skills.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
