Job Description
Towards Sustainable Use Of Resources Organisation (TSURO)Trust is seeking applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Procurement Officer. This role will report directly to the Administrator. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitates and coordinates the procurement of company Requirements in accordance with the procurement policy act and its regulations.
• Facilitate the acquisition of goods and services.
• Creates and puts into action comprehensive programs for evaluating suppliers.
• Draft bid documents and contracts that align with procurement regulations and Requirements.
• Facilitates the bidding process by organizing pre
• bid meetings, clarifying any questions, and managing the receipt and opening of bids.
• Facilitates the assessment of bids and manages any necessary negotiations that follow the Requirements process.
• Drafts and revises contract documents and their amendments.
• Submits all evaluations for submission to the Accounting Officer with confirmation that the procedure followed has complied with the procurement policy.
• Any other Responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in purchasing and supply /Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum of (5)years of working Experience in a similar role.
• Post
• graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication Skills.
• Strategic thinker and unquestionable integrity.
