VACANT LECTURESHIP AND TECHNICAL POSITIONS IN THE FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCE

The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite Requirements, Skills and Experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Applied Science:
LECTURESHIP/SENIOR LECTURESHIP/ASSOCIATE PROFESSORSHIP (6 POSTS)
POST B: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (3 POSTS)

Applicants must be holders of Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any other similar degree approved by the department and a Master of Science Degree in at least one of the following: Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Operations Research and Statistics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Holders of Ph. D Degrees in any of the above disciplines will be given preference.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach the following: Computational Discrete Mathematics, Evolutionary Computing & Parallel Distributed Processing and Computer Models & Simulation at postgraduate level as well as teach similar courses at undergraduate level such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
