Concentrates Production Clerk

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production sector, has some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining Division.

 At least 5 Ordinary level passes including
Mathematics and English.
 At least 1 year working Experience in mining environment.
 Diploma in Metallurgy/Mining or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution is an added advantage.
 A Requirements in sampling or ore quality control is an added advantage.
 Knowledge of Chromite Ore and Concentrates processing plants.
 Working knowledge of safety management systems, with exposure to the NOSA SHE System being an added advantage.
 Must be able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
 Clean Class 4 driver’s licence a must.

 Collect samples of Chromite Ores and Concentrates at specific points and deliver them to the laboratory for testing their conformance to required specifications.
 Account for Chromite Ores and Concentrates dispatches and receipts at the mine/plant.
 Generate reports of plant availability, downtimes and daily production.
 Monitor all Chrome mining and processing operations.
 SHE Management within the Mining section.
