Diamond Driller

We seek to recruit an experienced and qualified Diamond Driller based at Freda Rebecca Gold Mine in Bindura.
About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Diamond Driller to join our Technical Services team. This position reports to the Exploration Geologist.

About You
• Drilling certificate.
• 50' Levels including English and Mathematics.
• 5 years' Experience in diamond drilling.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensures health, safety, environment and quality standards are maintained.
• Carries out drilling activity including site preparation and demobilization tactics.
• Achieves required shift meterage.
• Ensures high quality core is recovered without grinding to meet industry standards.
• Achieves the required core recovery targets.
• Drills to specified parameters, i.e. angles (azimuth & dip) and expected depths.
• Carries out down hole surveys as per Supervisor's instruction.
• Reports daily drilled meterage.
• Conducts daily equipment inspections.
• Sets up rig, de
• rigs and relocates drilling rig as instructed.
• Performs any other Responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
