TECHNOLOGY CENTRE Product Developer (1 Post)

• Applicants should have a degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution;
• Minimum Experience of 2 years in design engineering.

• Product design and development;
• Designing manufacturing processes;
• Assessing product usability and safety;
• Assessing products markets;
• Assessing products and equipment for reverse engineering feasibility;
• Product testing and validation;
• Report writing and presenting results to managers and customers;
• Assessing and testing usability, environmental impact and safety of a design;
• Modifying and retesting designs;
• Managing development process including tracking progress and costs;
• Research on new materials and process and
• Data analysis from tests on prototypes.
