Palpo Technologies, a strategic unit of Bindura University of Science Education, is seeking a dynamic and results
• driven Production Manager to lead its fast
• growing electronics assembly operations. Our main production activities include assembling laptops, smartphones, tablets, and feature phones. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Zimbabwe’s technological advancement and innovation.

• A degree in Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years’ Experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly operations, with proven leadership in production management.
• Strong knowledge of electronics assembly processes (laptops, smartphones, tablets, feature phones).Skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, meet deadlines, and deliver high
• quality outputs.
• Familiarity with quality assurance systems, lean manufacturing, and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and report

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of assembled products.
• Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and resource allocation plans.
• Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and institutional policies.
• Monitor and maintain production equipment, coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to optimize supply chain and inventory management.
• Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and improvement strategies.
• Drive innovation in assembly processes, adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
