The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient IT systems across all stores and head office, overseeing IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, and software solutions while championing projects that enhance business performance. • on leader with solid commercial awareness who can align technology with business goals, ensure system reliability, drive digital transformation, and safeguard the company against IT risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy in line with business objectives.
• Oversee daily IT operations, including hardware, software, networks, and databases.
• Ensure seamless functioning of point
• of
• sale (POS) systems, ERP platforms, and all retail applications.
• Ensure data security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure value from all IT service providers.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget effectively.

Person Specification
The ideal person must possess the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco) are desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ proven Experience in IT management, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of retail IT systems such as ERP, POS, inventory management, and cybersecurity.
• Excellent leadership, problem
• solving, and communication Skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast
• paced retail environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and conducting statistical analysis.
