DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
POST 1: STAFF DEVELOPMENT FELLOW (2 POSTS)

A BSc Honours Computer Science / BSc Honours Computer Systems Engineering with at least a 2.1 pass.
Studying towards an MSc in Computer Science/ Computer Systems Engineering or an equivalent in the relevant field is an added advantage.

• Assist in teaching undergraduate courses in Computer Science and related areas under the guidance of faculty members.
• Design and deliver tutorials, workshops, and supplementary learning materials to support student learning and development.
• Collaborate with lecturers to develop assessment tools and provide feedback to students on their academic progress.
• Engage in research projects and assist faculty members with research activities in Computer Science or related fields.
• Participate in the university’s staff development programmes to enhance teaching Skills and pedagogical techniques.
• The Candidate must enrol for a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Security, Artificial Intelligence or related areas while in the role and complete within five years from the date of appointment.
