Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Driver which has arisen in our
Institute.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the Accountant. Responsibilities will include:
•
Ferrying staff and participants to and from ZIPAM
Ferrying participants on excursion tours
Ensures safety of passengers on board all the time
Act professionally and obey all traffic rules and regulations.
Ensures the bus/vehicles are properly licensed and the License disks are properly displayed.
Request for vehicle services before the due dates
Carry out daily routine checks (oil, tyres, brakes, water, lights and fuel)
Request for refueling, change of tyres and batteries)
Ensures safety of the vehicle and the tools inside (spare wheel, spanners, fire extinguishers, Nut lock. Jack and breakdown
triangles)
Report theft, faults and vandalism as soon as possible.
Ensure the bus/or vehicle is kept clean and tidy all the time
Any other Responsibilities as may be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
Requirements and Experience
1. ‘O’ Levels
2. Class 1 Driver’s License
3. Defensive Driver’s Certificate
4. Government Authority License (GA) an added advantage.
5. At least 5 years’ Experience
