As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
As a Licensed Clinical Therapist / Independent Licensed Therapist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. You will provide patients with behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providersConduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing psychotherapy sessionsScreen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disordersProvide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methodsSystematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complicationsOpportunities to represent the practice in community presentations and lecturesMaintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
