and lease administration staff on daily accounting operations.About the RoleYou will report to our Sr. Accounting Manager on the Lease Accounting team. If you're a proactive and self-motivated accountant, this is the role for you. Progressive experience in accounting operations, internal controls and financial systems is required, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management and cross-functional teams. You will work remotely, based in Mexico, with occasional travel for team events / offsites, expected to be once a year.Please submit your resume in English.You're excited about this opportunity because you will...Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for Lease AccountingExecute monthly rent roll/lease payment processSupport lease payment reconciliation Manage monthly meetings and communication with Real Estate Team to ensure that all lease contracts and contract changes are identified and included in the company's lease populationKey owner of the monthly close process and rent roll process for US and foreign entitiesEnsure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted proceduresHelp provide deliverables to external auditor on annual audits and quarterly reviewsCollaborate and communicate with cross functional partners regarding relevant accounting mattersPerform ad-hoc analyses and projectsWe're excited about you because...4+ years of relevant accounting experience (Accounts Payable experience is a plus)Bachelor's degree in AccountingStrong written and verbal proficiency in English - you will work with US-based stakeholdersExperience with ERP software is a must (i.e., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest large amount
