Cashier

The candidate will be responsible for handling customers transactions which includes processing receipts and payments. The position also includes excellent customer service, resolving customer queries as well as maintaining an organised and clean cash office.

Candidate must have at least a diploma in accounting or equivalent
A minimum of five years working as cashier
A clean criminal record and
A clear should be 30 to 40 years

Transaction Processing: Receiving quotation of goods required by the customer from the sales team, calculating totals, checking product availability, collecting payments, invoicing and giving change.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases.
Cash Handling: Balancing the cash register, handling cash transactions, and verifying credit information.
Maintaining Checkout Area: Ensuring the cash office is clean and well organized.
Assisting with Returns and Exchanges: Processing returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy.
Communication: Effectively communicating with customers and other team members.
Problem Solving: Resolving customer issues and escalating complex situations when necessary.
