Managing Your Notifications

Control how and when you receive updates from Everyday Vacancies.

Types of Notifications

We send notifications to keep you informed about important updates:

For Job Seekers

  • Job Alerts: New jobs matching your preferences
  • Application Updates: When employers view or respond to your applications
  • Profile Reminders: Suggestions to complete your profile

For Employers

  • New Applications: When candidates apply to your jobs
  • Team Activity: When team members take actions
  • Verification Updates: Status changes on your verification

Notification Channels

You can receive notifications through:

  • Email: Direct to your inbox
  • In-App: Bell icon in the navigation bar when logged in

Managing Your Preferences

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to your account settings
  3. Find the "Notifications" or "Email Preferences" section
  4. Toggle the notifications you want to receive
  5. Save your changes

Email Frequency

For job alerts, you can choose how often you receive emails:

  • Immediate: Get notified as soon as matching jobs are posted
  • Daily Digest: One email per day summarizing new jobs
  • Weekly Summary: A weekly roundup of opportunities

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it to stop receiving that type of notification. You can also manage all preferences from your account settings.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving notifications you expected?

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Make sure your email address is correct in your profile
  • Verify your notification preferences are enabled
  • For job alerts, ensure you have active alerts set up
